Unicorn Gundam Finished at last

Well thankfully I have finished on the unicorn gundam from paper-replika, I think I will be going back to doing what I love best..the 1 or 2 page toys, these at least I can do 4 or 5 a day instead of months!!
So here is the shield

Here is it's gun

And to finish with it's jetpack

This can now sit on top of the wardrobe and collect dust with the other toys!

Boxzet series

I came across this site by Byman studios called . These are brilliant paper toys presented in their own boxes just as though it was brought from a shop...great!! There are twenty four of them so far and they are also offering the blank template out for further customs to be added to their site.
I've only built one so far but the rest are printed and ready to go, just need to get some clear film for the front of the boxes. The idea is not a new one but they have created something that is very well executed and easy to make.

Paper-replika's Unicorn Gundam

Thought I would update my progress on the Unicorn Gundam Model by the talented Julius Perdana. I have finally finished the main body but still have to build it's shield, rocket booster pack and it's rifle/bazooka so i have still a fair way to go, but here a couple of pics so far...

ye-bot work

Well the Ye-Bot paper toy has been around for a while now but Marko Zubak at Yebomaycu.com is running a ye-bot initiative. He is collecting work at the moment to be shown at the II LOVE & ye-boT exhibition happening at the NextComic Fare on the 4th March 2011.

I have been trying to get some work done for it but have only just got around to getting a design on paper and here is my contribution for the exhibition

it did start off as this but thought it was a bit boring!

Finished at long last!!

well finally after about 6-7 months I have finished the optimus prime transformer, and i'm sure glad it is finished!! It's like one of the models you have to build but when you are finished all other models look tiny. It's now on top of my wardrobe because I have nowhere to put it?? I usually bin my models (recycle) once they are built but i don't think this one!!, will have to find someone to take it as the wife would not want it around the house!..never mind eh?

and before anyone says anything yes the picture of it's back is photoshop'd I had taken 4 pictures of it's back but not a full one so i had to join the pics together..

Right onto the next model....to finish of my unicorn Gundam..

Frustrating things!!

Doing the fingers of this optimus prime models is about the most time consuming things I have done for a while now. Each finger has 51, yes 51 parts PER FINGER!! a real nightmare but I have almost finished the model now and will be putting it all together soon

oh and here's some pictures of the legs joined to the waist section now. not the greatest in overall balance but hopefully it will stand by itself,

not much happening

Not much going on at the moment, am trying to finish all my work for college, just one more essay then one more test and that should be me finished at college (hopefully). Won't be going on to get a higher subject have struggled with this one.

Anyway about my transformer model, I only have one finger and one thumb left to make. Then I need to gloss all the red/blue parts, stick it all together then take some photo's for the web. I have not got a clue what i'm going to do with a 4 foot tall robot?
